Leon & Valerie Hunt - Owners
Leon Hunt is the executive manager of Hunt Broadcasting. Leon is also the owner and head manager of KMVL Radio. He and his wife Valerie have been the owners of this station for over twenty years. They also own KIVY Radio in Crockett, KTKC Radio in Springhill, LA and KJVC Radio in Mansfield, LA. Paul Wright - Mornings
Paul Wright has been the host of KMVL's morning show since 2004. He has been a radio personality and engineer for over 25 years, having built stations in NC, TN, MI, and MN.
Born and raised in Texas in a small town just outside of Victoria, Paul began his broadcasting career at several stations in Texas, including KVOJ, KCTA, KANI, KULP, KMKS and KULM.
In 1996 Paul built a talk radio network in MI, which in 1998 he rebuilt it the Twin Cities of MN. In 2003 Paul divested all interest in the Genesis Communication Network and built WVEM, “The Voice Of Evangelism Ministries” just outside of Charlotte, NC. A year later he came to KMVL.
Paul holds degrees in Theology as well as several professional diplomas in Broadcast Engineering, Website Specialist, and is also experienced in computer repair, and network management. Paul is the “IT” guy for the entire network of stations.
Becky Neal - Mornings
Becky was first exposed to radio at KUZN. Of course since then we have all tapped into her potential by dragging her into the Morning Show.
She is usually the first voice you hear if you call the station, and also handles sales for the station. If you are looking to launch an advertising campaign, or simple want to sponsor a local sports team, Becky is the one to call
KMVL has been serving Madison County for over 20 years. Beginning as a stand alone AM station, and building to a translator AM station in Huntsville, (both on 1220 AM). These two transmitters primarily carry Adult Standards music.In 1998 a 13,000 watt FM station on 100.5 FM was built which now carries Classic Country.In 2014 a FM translator was added to the AM line up of transmitters, broadcasting on 98.9. These are the people who make it all happen on both stations!
